Follow the Steps below to find The Lost Lament and obtain it’s power for yourself!
Quest step 1 of 11 to find The Lost Lament
Locate and scan 3 dead Exos on Europa.
-First Exo
In Europa head over to Cadmus Ridge.
You’ll want to approach from the South (coming from Variks) and take the first left up onto the ice. The Exo is sitting on top of one of the ridges you drive through. This one is a bit hard to spot (I had the most trouble with this one) so I suggest climbing on the highest ridge and looking for it if you can’t find it.
-Second Exo
Next you’ll want to pop over to Asterion Abyss and drive toward the east side. The Exo is sitting tucked back behind some Vex.
-Third and Final Exo
In Europa head over to Eventide Ruins.
To the right of spawning in you will see a red hued building, head over.
Go into the building and keep going to the back. The third Exo will be laying near a back pillar.
Quest Step 2 of 11
Locate the Giant Exo hidden in the Exo facility.
Head on over to Creation in Cadmus Ridge. You’ll want to start going through the Bray Exoscience center.
When you go through the door and enter the actual center go to the right and head through the lab. You’ll take another right and keep going though the center.
You’ll come to a dead end where you’ll have to hop down onto a lower platform. The middle of the lower platform has a hole that drops down to yet another platform.
Once you hop down you’ll begin hopping on lower left platforms until you reach the end with a door on the left. Continue through the door until you reach the giant Exo head.
Quest Step 3 of 11
Prove yourself to the Clovis AI by using swords against Vex across Europa.
Head on over to Europa’s Asterion Abyss with a sword equipped and kill 100 of them. If you just run these enemy groups that spawn in a circle you’ll get plenty of Vex variations to kill.
Quest Step 4 of 11
Acquire and complete the listed quests from Commander Zavala and Variks to prove yourself to the Clovis AI and continue on with “Lost Lament.”
If you have already done these quests they will be marked off for you. If you have not yet completed them then proceed to do so.
Quest Step 5 of 11
Prove your worth to the Clovis AI by completing and Exo challenge.
In order to continue on with an Exo challenge, you must have done Variks’ Old Secrets, New Challenges quest. This quest comes right after “The dark priestess” which you must have done to get to this step.
This exo challenge has you on a platform and you must protect that platform from the incoming waves of Vex while a boss gatekeeper is shooting at you.
Note: Easiest way I found to complete this is to stay on the front middle platform and shoot larger vex that are going to either side. This keeps them manageable. When your platforms are at 100% this allows you some time to shoot the gatekeeper.
Quest Step 6 of 11
Defeat Vex with Finishers to satisfy the Clovis AI. Defeating powerful Vex grants the most efficient progress.
Head back on over to Europa’s Asterion Abyss to kill vex. If you run these enemy groups that spawn in a circle you’ll get plenty of Vex variations to kill.
Quest Step 7 of 11
Access the strike “The Glassway” and locate the blade pieces within.
Grab a friend or two and head into The Glassway strike. Once you defeat the boss, you will be onto step 8.
Quest Step 8 of 11
Head back to the Tower and speak to Banshee-44 about the broken blade.
When you talk to Banshee-44 he will give you back the broken blade and sent you on quest step 9.
Quest Step 9 of 11
Search Eventide Ruins for an abandoned bunker and explore inside.
We have to go back to Eventide Ruins and complete the “Bunker E15” Lost Sector. This bunker is located inside the building. You will need to jump over some electronic equipment and then down into the sector.
Quest Step 10 of 11
Complete the mission “Reforging the Past” to save the Clovis AI from being destroyed.
You now have a quest marker on your map. Head on over and save Clovis from the Vex. This mission is pretty fun because you start off with finding a tank to run Vex over with and then end up defeating Vex with the Sword of Lament.
Quest Step 11 of 11
Head back to the Tower and report your discoveries to Banshee-44.
Once you head back and talk to Banshee-44 The Lost Lament is yours.
