Technique:

With the Olorime set your ground DOTS/HOTS will place the ring. Since most DPS tend to get close to the boss or enemies, I tend to rush forward and cast to proc the Olo and then back off allowing the DPS to stand in all that wonderful buffness as I heal from a safer vantage.
