I’ve reached the point in PvP where I just wanna go out there and ruin peoples days, ya know? And to do that, you need a build viable enough to just rub salt in the wound. Been working on this build for about half a year, just making sure I knew how to play it, cause it’s different than anything I’ve done before. I introduce to you, THE SLAUGHTER MACHINE

Race:

  • Redguard: Best Sustain for a Stamina DPS Class
  • Wood Elf: Great Bow damage from Stealth and decent sustain

Sets:

  • Impregnable Armor Armor:
    • Honestly, being a Stamina Nightblade in PVP without this set hurts a lot. This sets grants a TON of Critical resistance, enabling you apply more Divines to your armor instead of Impenetrable
  • Spriggan’s Thorns Jewelry + Weapons (Axe & Dagger + Bow):
    • Once again, this is your main source of Damage. Spriggan’s offers such an insane amount of damage to any Stamina based build, it’s 100% worth using
  • Troll King Heavy Helm + Medium Shoulders:
    • Usually I like damage focused monster sets, but after really diving into this set, well, the amount of health that LITERALLY comes out of nowhere is worth having. This’ll keep you good an alive

Technique:

The Slaugher Machine is more NON-CP based build. It’s main focus is a very good amount of suvivability, combined with some beautiful damage to keep enemy players pressured at all times. In order to effectively using this build, your main target should be applying rending slashes to any enemy you can visualize, but not over-spamming it. If you’re in a more “1v1” scenario, you need to make sure your enemy has the bleed damage applied to them, which grants you the power to SPAM Whirling Blades on their sorry hides. After contemplating Surprise attack swapped with Whirling Blades, you soon learn that putting Piercing Mark on your enemy and THEN going ham on them with Whirling Blades allows you to do a great deal of things:

– Deal Damage to surrounding enemies

– Deal increased damage to LOW-health enemies

– Get enemy players out of stealth

– Gives some stamina recovery

Although Surprise attack is BEYOND beautiful in single target, using whirling blades absolutely tears your enemies apart. With your Dual Wield bar, it’s quite a simple and easy-to-learn rotation. Make sure you’re constantly using rending slashes so the enemy has dots, and have shadowy on the ready WHENEVER you need a second to recover and escape. Killer’s Blade is obviously your execution ability, which is used in perfect harmony with Whirling Blades, as both deal increased damage to lower health enemies

For your bow bar, you need to focus on consistently apply ANOTHER dot to your enemy, and that would be Poison Injection. If your enemy is 50% health or low, a Poison Injection could more than likely be the ability to finish them off in the end. Make sure that you always have Piercing Mark applied to your main focus enemy, and continue to re-apply if the fights drag on. Obviously, there are two buffs on this bar that will greatly improve damage AND survivability, and those two are relentless focus and Shuffle. Make sure that, if you’re not too tight on resources, these two abilities are continuously up and running, just to make sure that you can occasionally pop-off a Spectral bow attack, dealing GREAT amounts of damage, or that beautiful dodge chance that Shuffle grants. Then you’ve got your Vigor, and ability that, combined with the Troll King set, will make you the most annoying Nightblade possible. Using your Vigor once, at lower health, will almost blast you straight back to 100%. Damage dealing monster helms are great, but this literally just give you the best fighting chance to stay alive AND continue the absolutely terrifying amount of damage to your enemies, without spamming (and wasting resources) on healing up.

Conclusion:

Being another PVP Focused build, the Technique on how to properly use this also depends highly on your OWN personal take on how to PVP. Using this build gives Nightblade players a MASSIVE option when it comes to play style, as you can find all new ways to kill players with the amount of time and survivability you have! In Battlegrounds, it can be a devastating build to battle against, outliving massive amounts of damage because of Troll King, and shredding enemies apart due to Whirling Blade “Spin-To-Win” spam. The game has arrived at a point (For Nightblades specifically) where we NEED to adapt to these popular playstyles to do decently in intense Player vs Player situation, and the Slaughter Machine will ensure for some great battles.
