One of my most HIGHLY asked for builds, wanted by a ton of people, and one that I haven’t disclosed any info on until now. Probably cause it’s so casual BUT STILL ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL. It’s time to get out there and become the WARDEN BUTCHER.

This is a build that relies heavily on an explosive burst, making sure that your enemies practically blow up when you target them.

  • Dark Elf: Great in both the Stamina and Magicka department (for the few Magic abilities used) and great fire resistance when being a vampire

Mundus Stone:

  • The Lover – Just all out increased Physical Penetration
  • The Warrior – Just all out increased Weapon Damage

  • Bone Pirate’s Tatters Armor:
    • A set that offers absolutely insane Stamina Sustain, helping you continuously apply extreme pressure to enemies
  • Senche’s Bite Jewelry + Weapons (Axe & Dagger + Two Hander/Bow):
    • A set that grants an incredible amount of weapon damage for simply roll dodge.
  • Blood Spawn Heavy Helm + Medium Shoulders:
    • For your burst, you want Dawnbreaker, and for an Ultimate spam, you want Blood Spawn, which gives insane Ultimate regeneration, resistance, and Stamina recovery on the side

The Butcher Warden Build can be an absolutely devastating build, if used correctly. It’s a VERY up-close-and-personal style of build that relies heavily on smashing enemies with a terrific burst. Making sure that your dawnbreaker is usually at the ready, and CONSTANTLY have subterranean assault, will cause a massive heap of damage within an instant. Always make sure that your buffs: (Null Netch, Forward Momentum, Shimmering Shield, and Bird of Prey) are always up, just to ensure that when you DO get into a fight, or are in the middle of fight, you’ll have the mobility to continue pressure at your maximum effort.

Know WHEN to strike is the most important part of this build, especially when using the “Senche’s Bite” set, that grant you damage for a simple roll dodge, and then slam the Dawnbreaker down on their heads. Having the CP Passive: “Tactician” for putting 120 points (at least) into The Antronach tree, gives an awesome Knock-Down perk to roll dodge through an enemy, so hey, might as well put 2 and 2 together. One of the BEST times to strike an enemy is when you know they have low stamina (When they begin to block instead of roll-dodge in a last-ditch effort is usually a good indicator). At this point, make sure that your Sub Assault is going, your dawnbreaker is at the ready, and your Reverse Slice is able to be spammed. Simply roll dodge through the enemy, knocking them over, then weave in a QUICK light attack (Or heavy attack if you’re feeling lucky) to a DAWNBREAKER, which will practically turn them into an ostrich, and if THAT wasn’t enough, well, reverse slice is there to make sure the job gets done. If this combo is done correctly, it will be an absolutely devastating end to your enemies.

If you’re in a fight where you need a second of distance to collect yourself, make sure you make use of the ability “Magnum Shot” which creates a beautiful distance between you and your enemy. It also explodes them, which is cool.

Soothing Spores and Vigor are also your friends, USE THEM. Most Warden’s I kill are ONLY dying because they forget that (although they’re an incredibly powerful class) they can be annihilated if they don’t utilize their healing. Don’t be a clumsy Warden, remember to heal, and you’ll be fine.

Although a VERY situational build, the Warden Butcher is incredibly powerful and annoying to fight. Remember to roll dodge to gain that extra weapon damage is incredibly important, and to finalize that burst damage with the Dawnbreaker + Reverse Slice combo is deadly beyond anything else. It’s a very fun build to use, and really focuses on some of the key reasons why playing a Warden can be just so darn fun.
