Stamina Warden PVE DPS can be great, if used right, and can pull a solid amount of damage even though it MOSTLY feels like you just buff and proc the whole time. Here’s a guide to help you find a more solid setup to compliment your thirst for DPS.

Race:

  1. Dark Elf (MY Primary, just because of the flat Damage increase)
  2. Nord (Ultimate generator for higher cost ultimates)
  3. Orc (Fantastic Stamina and Health sustain)

Mundus Stone:

  • The Warrior (Weapon Damage Increase)

ADVANCED Sets:

  1. Velidreth
    • Used in almost all of my DPS builds to maximize the amount of damage poured out upon your poor nerdy victims, Velidreth yields an impressive amount of single target damage, almost a must have for any damage dealers.
  2. (Perfected) Relequen’s
    • Reason I have Perfect in brackets is because I KNOW how brutal it can be to find a good group to run Vet Cloudrest with. If you can’t get perfected, all you’re missing out on is some extra Stamina, so don’t worry about it. The REASON we run this set is for the absolute insane damage it can deal when the set procs.
  3. Tzogvin’s
    • A brand new set that surprisingly brings quite a punch, forcing me to swap from using any other set to THIS one. It can stack insane amounts of damage, and boosted my DPS on most builds (and this one) by a solid 5-10k.

Set Side Notes:

  • Remember: Both Tzogvin’s AND Relequen’s (preferebly Perfected) don’t drop easily, and they will certainly not drop exactly what you want all the time. Reason why there’s a divider between the two is solely because you will probably have to mix and match where each set piece goes depending on which pieces you get from Cloudrest/Frostvault. They’re both medium sets, and are inter-changable.

BASIC Sets:

  1. Selene’s
    • This is the Monster set I recommend to ALL PvE DPS just starting out and getting the easier to acquire sets in order to still deal substantial damage throughout content. Selene’s is hands down one of the best basic DPS sets in the game for single target.
  2. Hunding’s Rage
    • I know, crafted set, ooooooooo, bad Kevduit for suggesting this. BUT WAIT, you’ve been bamboozled this whole time, cause it turns out Hunding’s Rage is actually one of the most PRACTICAL damage dealing sets in the game. Literally straight up weapon damage. Get bamboozled, nerd.
  3. Vicious Ophidian
    • Alright, so this one MIGHT be a bit of a stretch, but I’m gonna be honest here, Aetherian Archive should be hot on your mind when becoming a DPS, and getting even just the BLUE gear of this will help you our massively due to it’s “Bonus damage to dungeons monsters” perk. You want that. Vet AA might be a bit of a challenge to newcomer DPS, but normal is a breeze, just look for groups willing to carry.

Set Side-Notes:

  • Remember to have a FULL 5 Pieces of Medium to take full advantage of the Medium Armor Passives. Besides that, if you feel like you WANT to run 1 light and 1 heavy, 2 more Mediums, 2 Heavy’s, WHATEVER the combo, feel free. Each will add to the resource pool of the Warden, so if you struggle in one area, it’s a good idea to manage that.

Food:

  • Dubious Camoran Throne / Artaeum Takeaway Broth
    • Remember, Artaeum isn’t the easiest (nor cheapest) to acquire, so just use Dubious in its stead if you can’t get it readily.

Potion:

  • Essence of Weapon Power Pots
    • Blessed Thistle, Dragonthorn, Wormwood

Abilities:

Now, before I mention any abilities, remember (because I’ve literally had this question before) YES, you can put the skills in any order, BUT they’re on the certain bars to give benefits and perks, so swapping one ability to the other bar could potentially throw the entire build off it’s course, congrats, it’s now on a collision course for Earth, it just created a black hole, what have you done, oh my word, I thought we were safe and then you come along and destory everything, EVERYTHING. but yeah, you can swap abilities on the bars themselves, just not to the other bars if you want to maximize perks.

1:Subterranean Assault Endless Hail
2:Cutting Dive Poison Injection
3:Rending Slashes Razor Caltrops
4:Barbed Trap Bull Netch

Conclusion:

This Stamina Warden PVE DPS build is meant to deal substantial amounts of damage throughout the fight, and have an absolute brutal burst-down finale. Although the rotation can be complicated, and obviously (the Warden being a class literally built around buffs) can be frustrating to maintain, I really think that dealing the 50-60k that the advanced build can deal is pretty decent. The Basic build is a much simpler yet still effective 30-35k, but still quite effective for completing any content in the game.

      Vilhelm Kalin · May 26, 2019 at 9:28 pm

      Vilhelm Kalin · May 26, 2019 at 9:29 pm

Vilhelm Kalin · May 27, 2019 at 1:11 pm

Hello I dont know why my comment was removed but is venow arrow and poison injection both supposed to be there? If so how can I get them both at the same time?

    Kevduit · May 27, 2019 at 2:19 pm

It definitely looks like the plugin decided to update some numbers or something, because I’ve been noticing all these wrong skills across most of my pages now, sorry about that!

Vilhelm Kalin · May 28, 2019 at 8:37 pm

I I cant see my comment about the blade cloak but is it supposed to be there and not morphed? Sorry for spamming

    Kevduit · May 30, 2019 at 3:58 pm

Hey! Sorry, for some reason some of the abilities I put in ended up going to unmorphed versions somehow. Thanks for catching that! It’s Deadly Cloak, not blade cloak
